Our children are a gift from God. They are our future and our heritage. They deserve nothing but our very best. At New Hope, we provide a loving, safe environment where our children can grow in their love and knowledge of God and the Bible.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday morning is a great opportunity for the whole family to connect at New Hope. Classes for children (from nursery through sixth grade) are held during both adult worship services. The material used is age appropriate for each child and is taught by adults who genuinely care about the spiritual development of children.

7^th & 8^th graders have bible study at 9:00 a.m. and our high schoolers 9^th to 12^th meet at the 10:45 a.m. in the youth room.

Mid-week Discipileship Program

Our mid-week discipleship program is called “Breakout” and is designed to help each child dig deeper in their spiritual lives. Using the “Breakout” material, students is grades 3-6 will learn what it means to Know Christ, Grow in Christ, Serve Christ, and Share Christ. Each book is broken up into three sections of eight lessons for a total of 24 lessons. One book is covered during each school year. While “Breakout” features high energy, great fun, awards, theme nights, scripture memory, etc, it also has the very important element of directed teaching. Students will spend 45 minutes each week in their age related small group to cover each lesson with their leaders and friends at church.

Our pre-kindergarten (age 4) through 2^nd grade students use Kids Quest, which is the younger version of “Breakout”. Kids Quest takes the children on a quest to Discover God’s Word, Discover God’s Plan, Discover God’s Son and Discover God’s Will. Using Bible stories, kids will listen, learn, look and live with safari animals as they complete weekly lessons and participate in games, crafts, and stories during their small group time. This curriculum not only teaches children Bible stories, but also helps them to apply scripture to their lives and prepares children to take the next step to “Breakout”.

“Breakout” is held on Wednesday evenings at New Hope Church from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. The cost for the entire session is $25 per child and includes their book and t-shirt.

Vacation Bible School

Each summer New Hope offers a fun filled week of adventure for grades pre-school through 6^th. Centered on a basic gospel message and full of practical Christian principles, each day will be filled with teaching, crafts, worship and drama that seek to draw your children closer to Christ.
