Welcome to Read Through The Bible In A Year. Each day you will have an average of two or three chapters to read with questions for each section. It is best to have a journal for your questions and answers. There will also be optional meetings twice a month if you want to meet with others in this program. January 4 - Answers

  1. His Father, Terah, took him.

  3. There was famine in Canaan. They were exiled because Abraham told Pharaoh that Sarai was his sister (which was not a lie-also not the complete truth).
  4. Their families quarreled and they separated. Lot was captured by invading kings and Abraham rescued Lot.
  5. Melchizedeck is the king of Salem and a high priest to God.
  6. God promised that Abram’s descendants would number like the stars. Abram was called righteous because he trusted the Lord.
